RIVERTOTS

A weekly drop-in for parents & carers with young children. Stories, songs and prayers, followed by play and refreshments in the Gibbs Room. Tuesdays (term time only) 9.30am – 11.00am. £1 per family. Please use the side entrance. All under 5s and their carers are welcome.

SUNDAY MORNINGS

BABY BUBBLES (9.30 service): Babies (0-18 months) are welcome to remain in the service but should they become unsettled there is an unstaffed crèche area by the kitchen, next to the Long Room. There is a changing mat in the ladies tilts, situated behind the kitchen. Please use the kitchen facilities if you need to warm babies’ food/bottles. Feel free to come and go between the service and the crèche using the door by the kitchen into the courtyard.

BUBBLES (9.30 service): This group is for accompanied toddlers/pre-schoolers, aged 18 months to 3/4 years and meets in the Gibbs Room. A volunteer from the Bubbles team leads the children and adults in a simple worship session using songs, prayers and Bible stories suitable for this age range. This is followed by free play and drawing activities.

SPLASH (9.30 service): This group is for 3-7 year olds who are at school nursery. Children in this group are unaccompanied. The leaders plan an exciting session with a range of storytelling, songs and multisensory activities and games to present the Bible in an age appropriate format. Splash have fun learning and worshipping God. The group meets in the Long Room, led by volunteers from the Splash team. Should your child
become unsettled, a leader will come and find you in church.

XSTREAM (9.30 service): This group is for children ages 7-10, in years 3-5 at school. Meets in the vicarage, gathering first in church and is led by volunteers from the XStream team. The children use a range of multimedia resources and are encouraged to read, listen, pray and reflect upon the Bible and what it means to them.
A variety of activities are offered to help XStream
deepen their faith and understanding.

CHILDREN AT 11.30 SERVICE: Children stay in during the 11.30 service, with a craft table and a themed activity provided each week. The 11.30 is a family-friendly and informal service.
